Nothing Important

For the first time in yonks I find myself grumbling and putting the world to rights.  Something my tired wee mind has struggled with recently when I really couldn't work up the energy.  Twice tonight I allowed my mind to wander over past battles and successfully defeat the enemies of reason (my reason).  A good sign!
I should point out not everyone would see this as a good sign.  If I sleep enough, eat enough (and properly) I may have to start blogging properly again. I could go on about blood thirsty Americans bombing people (even though none appear in the media at the moment), I could blast the trumpet against the monstrous regiment, I could grumble re the appalling state of cheap slippers, and I might even get around to winging about those self service machines in Sainsbury's this morning but I have forgiven the brute now.

Since I wrote that my mind has dulled and darkness is falling with a big thump. I listen to the football online as the Sportsound boys get excited over little. There is little to get excited over as our lot don't play till Sunday when we beat the wee team again.  I seem to spend more time in my bed on this laptop than anything else these days.  In fact all day I have been downloading stuff onto disks and two of them had already been downloaded yonks ago!  Fool!  Dearie me just formatting the disk tales ten minutes let alone sorting out the pics. Bah!  Tomorrow I will go around the favourite blogs and find something rude to say on them all.

"Blood thirsty Americans"??? I think that is a bit harsh, Adullamite. The US has been dropping food and water to those people discarded and slaughtered by their own. The US is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't by so many...but not by me!

I much rather have the US as an ally than those barbaric demons ISIS. I don't hear anything about them doing any good! What a dire time it will be if monsters like them rule the world.

I was going to point out that that is twice in one week you have written about nothing and yet quite a lot between the nothingness. Please take care of yourself.

Would it better for us to just stand back and watch so many of our Kurdish allies be annihilated after we were the ones who kicked over the fire ant hill to begin with?

The monstrous regiment has a mute for every trumpet....

Lee, yes indeed they do much good. However their forces are blood thirsty and carry the Custer gene, 'the only good Indian is a dead Indian!' They may have held back Isis so far but we have so many UK men killed by a gung ho attitude it is not easy to forget.

Carol, There is a lot of nothing here, and nothing makes a lot of noise.

Jerry, Indeed Bush and those strange people behind him kicked over much! I am reading an MPs diary from that time and it is clear Blair just made no difference to them. We followed for some reason with no influence at all! Blair asked what happens when Saddam falls and there was no plan! He still followed on.
We now must support the Kurds, not just for oil this time, and once again our men must go. This lot have cut our army of course, and we have not got enough men now!

Fly, I might have known.........
