This pair, who left the country 6 years ago, are now returning.  They say this is for the children's education.  Aye, right!  Of course this is so they can go to either Eton or one of the other £60,000 a year public schools that produce degenerates similar to themselves. 

The media smell money! 

The invented conflict between him and his dim brother Willie will once again be played out via the press.  Each word will be distorted and magnified to favour a good or bad look, all will be lies.  Millions of stupid people will follow this example of 'Bread and Circus's,' while not noticing the Billionaires who run the country are taking all their rights away from them, and robbing them blind.  

Harry, who now has to pay his share of the £10 million they owe the Daily Mail, has returned at a convenient time.  Six years abroad means he pays less tax on his millions, that is if he actually pays tax, most patriotic royals avoid this.  

This farce will continue without comment on these pages.  To me, all the royals ought to be put up against the wall, remove them and introduce a republic.  Once Scotland is free from the shackles of English grasping we shall certainly lose these benefit scroungers once and for all.

The Coup You Do Not See.

Most people are unaware that a coup has been ongoing for many years.  Since Thatcher came to power in 1979, on the backs of the workers vote, the things that had been hard fought for over 300 years have been slowly being removed from us.  Under the cry 'Competition,' we had 'privatisation,' which has led to increased prices, fewer employees, lower wages in real terms, and poorer service.  Only the directors and shareholders benefitted.  She began the selling off, of the NHS, she sold off council houses and created homelessness, she cut council cash and reduced services, she destroyed the infrastructure crying,' There is no such thing as society.'  Society has suffered constantly since.

Since her welcome demise things have developed.

The surge of privatisation crookedness continues unabated, water, gas, electric, you name it and directors will be lining their pockets while the service fails.  The word 'service' is no longer used, even at the Royal Mail,' which is now privatised and failing also.  

This is the fault of deliberate action by the money men at the top of society.  The billionaires who now run our government.  Whatever the Secretary of State there is always someone ready to buy him with loads of cash, and today, they are ready to receive it.

The government and opposition of Clem Atlee had lived for the most part through two world wars, a depression, bad housing, poor health, and for many grinding poverty.  People on all sides knew 'something had to be done.'  The Labour government of 1945 took action, the action the people desired, even the then Tories did not always disagree with this.  In fact, Harold MacMillan during 1951-53 built two million houses, mostly council ones, for the people, because they were required.  Such action is not possible today.

In 2010 George Osborne, a public school educated rich boy, gave us 'austerity,' in a bid to control UK finances.  This cut drastically council work, put many out of employment, lost a great many youth clubs, many social services, cut prison staff, and continued to destroy the society that Thatcher claimed did not exist.  Since then the wolves have been prowling.  Fourteen years of the Tory government has seen poverty rise, food banks blossom, and the rich move into controlling the government.  All this on the basis of pointing the finger at 'The Boats.'  

The 'Boats,' containing refugees and asylum seekers crossing the dangerous channel were seen as the enemy.  Mostly by Nigel Farage (isn't that a German name?) as an 'invasion.'  It was a situation he created when he pushed for Brexit, the stupidest thing the UK has ever done, when the English, not the Scots, voted to bring back the empire and found themselves lied to.  They still refuse to accept this. Nigel did not do this because he is a patriot, but because he took money for it.  Where from?  Putin in Russia is an obvious individual to blame, but also those like Peter Thiel, and Steve Bannon, two men who believe in an Apocalypse to end western Liberal civilisation.  Two very strange, powerful, rich men with 'mad professor written all over them, and they have the ear of many governments.  

Add to these the billionaires, especially the Zionist ones encouraged by Netanyahu to take control of governments everywhere for the benefit of their idea of Israel.  The US has been controlled for many years, now the UK has seen the Labour Party turned from a party of the people to a Zionist controlled mob.  The latest stooge, Andy Burnham has been linked by cash to Israel for 20 years.  Now, controlled by billionaires he is in control, with all his advisors, cabinet colleagues and many leading men in the forces, Police and elsewhere under Zionist control.  Bibi must be happy.  

Brexit took the UK out of the EU security, independently it was open to infiltration, now it is a prisoner while some still claim sovereignty.  The resultant policies are undermining UK attitudes.  Decent services for all, the NHS, social security, and public spending are being removed, no matter the damage caused, and once again they are attempting to encourage the masses to kill themselves to save taxing the rich.

Have people not noticed this?

 

The media, the BBC, the Mail, the Times, all come under control of Israel or their friends, that is tax dodging friends.  These papers pay not tax as they owners companies are based in foreign parts, like the British Virgin Isles.  The majority will accept whatever the BBC tells them, they will not accept it is under outside control.  When Farage stood stupidly for election again in Clacton some 22,000 people voted for this crook, why?  

Ask yourself what is going on.  Seek the truth not offered in the media.  Ask what can be done.  The people who stood up for the nation over the last three hundred years are all gone now.  The questioning attitude has lessened.  People are offered 'bread and circus's,' while they are robbed.  How can they not see this?  A coup has occurred and few notice, open your eyes people!

 

Rail

I was hoping to be fitter this week and make a slow dash for the train.  I have no idea where to go, but I did want to get outside somewhere different.  Then I looked at the Twitter notices re rail.  So many times this week the local railways have been halted by challenging situations that it kind of put me off.  If the signals fail, or a train is derailed by a fault, or someone throwing themselves in front of a fast moving freight, or a broken down train blocks the line, then railway life would be easy.  As it is where there are two tracks if one is blocked the whole line suffers delays.  This has happened a lot in recent days, delays can last for hours.

Two trains did derail, one seriously, leaving three coaches on their side, luckily no-one died.  The other was much less serious, though the driver may disagree.  Such things occur on railways, though I am glad to say the UK railways remain pretty safe all things considered.  There again, the publicity for a derailed train is greater than that for a car accident.  We are used to drugged up drivers killing themselves and others, so we ignore the story.  A train carries more people and gets more attention from our grubby media.  In this county around 5 people die on the roads each month, that's around 60 a year.  If a few people die on the railways it gets much more attention, how absurd!  I read that around 70% of accidents are caused by drugs and drink, mostly drugs these days, while 90% of the dead are the drugged up drivers.  A clear warning.  

Accidents will always occur on the railways, but when fit and with a wallet full of dust I will get out soon and visit somewhere.  Of course, now the intense heat has dropped, a mere 25% C in here, that's 80%F, much less than it has been, and sadly cloud covers us blocking the light, this makes me less keen to hobble out.

Use the railways, be not afraid.

The Transistor Radio of my Youth

This transistor radio is similar in style to the one that you and I had a great many years ago.  And what a world was opened up for us by this small wonder.  

I first came across one hen I found my elder brother had bought one in a kit form, and was struggling to put this device together.  It worked.  Later I had one of my own, with an earpiece, which I would take with me to the football.  How wonderful to hear the results from all other grounds when the game was heading to its finale!  The lies told by those carrying a radio were common.  At Tynecastle Park, a call would be heard, "Hibs got beat," and the cheers would resound.  Usually of course it was a lie, they had no radio, and had no scores.     

The most common use for such a device, if you had got a battery for it, was to listen for music, and that meant Radio Luxembourg.  In the early 60s the UK had no private radio stations, the toffs in London did not allow this.  The BBC 'Home' Service provided the news and weighty material, the BBC 'Light Programme,' offered comedy and less serious stuff including music.  The 'Third programme' covered classical music.  However, the music desired by those under 25 was not found on such stations.  At best 'pop' music meant ballads, often smarmy, sweet, and sentimental dross to the young.  While occasionally a decent song would be heard the Rock & Roll we all wanted was not tolerated.  So we listened to 'Luck, Lucky Luxembourg.'  Here in the evenings we heard the music we wished to hear.  John Jackson was one of my favourite disc jockeys, his music choice and the clips from many comedy shows were well advanced in comparison with the BBC.  The whole world was listening to the rise and fall of the Luxembourg sounds as the medium wave signal rose and fell over the vast distance.  Yet we did not complain, it was great music for the young.

Soon, pirate radio stations arrived, again playing proper music.  The radios were getting bigger, the batteries lasting longer and getting more expensive, and the music also was well worthwhile.  The BBC was forced in 1967 to amend everything and introduce a channel that covered only pop music.  Here the top 40 was played over and over again, annoying to those of us who wished to hear the better music only John Peel would play.  But this silenced the pirate stations and reduced the desire for Radio Luxembourg.  Soon the pirates were off-air or sunk by storm, Luxembourg ended, but the radios continued.

The radios grew and developed so by the eighties a choice of wavebands was available.  I spent much time listening to the BBC World Service on shortwave, and then to the many Eastern Europe radio stations informing me of their nations successes.  All disappeared after 1989 when Communism ended in the Soviet Union.  This was a shame as I enjoyed the many often humorous programmes and their take on the world.  The World Service continues but at a much reduced and compromised outlay.  The short wave has of course disappeared altogether with the internet.

Those small transistor radios brought a new life to us in the 60s.  Of course, they developed and grew in size.  Of course, there was always someone with a large radio booming out bad music whenever the sun shone, of course there were always others to indicate their contempt.  Today this same attitude is covered by the ignorant refusing to wear an earpiece while on the mobile phone. 

 

Nigel

So, Trump, if he can remember who he is, will be happy Nigel has been re-elected as MP for Clacton.  What this says about the voters makes me shudder.  Nigel ignored them, spent his time seeking cash elsewhere, and did not respond to enquiries from his constituents.  Yet 22,000 voted for him rather than a sensible man, Count Binface, who did collect over 7,000 votes.  Most of the 34 candidates lost their deposit.

So Nigel is back, though Clacton will not see him, and once again the nation will await the investigation into his Parliamentary behaviour to see if he will be banned at all.  As if that matters as he never attends anyway.  We may have to go through all this again soon.

Nigel remains in place, Trump remains in place stealing for himself, Bibi remains in charge of all of them, bar Putin.  Putin incidentally saw another close friend fall out of a high window the other day.   These Russian Generals are very careless.  Burnham remains Israels choice for the UK, though he has done nothing, and indeed will do nothing.  Fake politics abound these days.

 

Race

When individuals propagate lies division occurs.  Yes Nigel I mean you!

A man with no morals who is happy to take money for stimulating hate and division has no care as to the individuals who suffer as a result.  The entire UK suffers greatly because of this man's duplicity and wealth gathering.

However, has he a point?  

We grow up in a variety of places.  Some are born in the middle of large cities with a various population, others come from small towns and villages, in some so small it is possible to know everyone all around.  We naturally expect that all our lives will be lived in such circumstances, and it is sometimes difficult to cope with changes, slow or sudden, in the world we know.  A sudden influx of 'foreigners' can cause trouble.

In the late 19th century and early 20th, many east Europeans, often Polish, arrived in Scotland.  Coal mine owners, typically the greediest of men, were quick to offer them work down the pits of Ayrshire and elsewhere.  These new miners thought they were on to a good thing, the wages were higher than at home, and the area pleasant.  The locals, now out of work were not pleased.  Much trouble ensued and 'race' was a divisive issue that lasted for many years in some areas.  The UK has seen the arrival of such East Europeans, Italians, Greeks, Turks and who knows who for many years, and at all times there are 'racial' problems.  

The reason? 

The reason in many cases in the newcomers work for less or do the dirty jobs locals will not do.  Add to that the change caused by large numbers of 'foreigners' appearing in what the locals call 'their streets,' and resentment grows.  This has never been handled well in the UK.  Locals are called 'racist,' and ignored.  If they suffer they are blamed for it, the incomers have often been given, or are perceived to be given, advantages not given to locals.  Natural resentment grows.  

Colour is secondary.

The ports around the UK have always brought people from far and wide, various colours have always been seen round the docks.  In Edinburgh the university and Medical School have attracted people from the Empire and elsewhere for years.  Edinburgh of course had many consulates and frequently these represented black nations, though there were few of these in the 50s the number grew during the 1960s.  Around this time Asians began to appear and during the early 70s a flood of Asians from East Africa arrived, they transformed Edinburgh by their desire to work and create business.  

Today, the area where I was raised features many various coloured faces, not quite as many as Notting Hill during my time there, but a smattering have appeared.  I can understand why people are made afraid by change, and change bringing new colours, various foodstuffs and different cultural understandings which can be upsetting for some.  Those upset are not racist, they just do not like change, and change is difficult for us all, whether in the family, in work, or in the world around us.

The politicians today who take advantage of the fears, lies, and misunderstandings behave disgracefully, and they are all doing it now.  This criminal behaviour is just to get votes from the ignorant that keep them in power.  The days of parties working together for the good of the UK have long gone.  We now live under a UK government controlled by Israel and billionaires.  The outlook is not good for any of us.

 

Nap!

 

There can be no doubt that the after lunch sleep is the best sleep of the day.  

While a good few hours at night are beneficial the 20–30 minutes set aside from the world feel more refreshing and possibly better for you.  In fact the actual sleep time here is often less than 5 minutes, but overall when you wake the troubles have lessened, the mind is clearer, the world a better place.

Of course, you need to sleep at night, God gave us this few hours coma to remind us that we are but mortal, and not the God like creature we consider ourselves to be, but also it is meant to rebuild us from within.  When under stress, pain, overwork, travelling or the blessing of children of course, we lack sleep and gain irritability.  The world becomes our enemy instead of a friend.  

Winston Churchill, a man you may have heard off, was adept at cat-napping.  Of course, he was at one point leading a war effort, and that is a 24 hour a day job, so such sleep is required.  Soldiers in the field will also understand this.  Talking of battles brings us back to children again, mothers, especially of toddlers and below, also suffer sleep deprivation, and blame the man for this!  

A third of our short lives are spent in sleep.  Roughly eight hours a day are in a temporary coma.  Sometimes hospitals will put a patient in a coma to help speed up healing, sleep works wonders sometimes.  

For me, the bright morning wake me early at 5 am or shortly after, deep sleep is slight after this.  In the dark days approaching us I will no doubt struggle to rise before 8 am!  But at the moment I require the nap after lunch, and I recommend it to all, especially the retired, as we can enjoy the time without the awful thought that we must return to employment like the rest!  Happy days.

Thought For the Day

 

RIP Fly in the Web, also known as Doris Ward or Helen Devries. Author of 'The Venomous Bead.'

It appears my friend and yours, Fly in the Web author of 'The Venomous Bead' site has departed this life.

I say appears, as it is difficult obtaining confirmation from Costa Rica.  

Facebook has an option called 'Stories,' items that appear for 24 hours and then vanish.  I noticed one of these appeared to have a picture of Fly, along with her husband who died just over two years ago. The writing was of course Spanish and translates more or less 'RIP both of you.'  This led me to believe she has passed away.

Her last contact was via email last Tuesday, when she spoke of going to the hospital again.  I suggested she moved in as she had been back and forth several times, she did not like the idea, their 'cuisine' put her off.  There has been no contact since.    

I have left messages on email and on Facebook Messenger, but no reply.  I conclude the worst from this.  

It will be difficult for Danilo and the family there to deal with the situation, they have known her for many years and have been s part of her life.  The administration, the Lawyers, and what else that is required will be difficult for them to work out, let alone the loss.   So it is difficult without a phone number to call, or the ability to speak Costa Rican Spanish, to ascertain the situation.  It may be we will never know.  

Fly, will be buried on the Finca alongside her beloved.

I miss my friend greatly.
