Wednesday Waffle

 

It is the usual UK summer, 31% C. in my flat, that's just over 90 F.  

Politicians are making speeches, none of which condemn global warming as they are all on the pay of billionaires who make money from oil and natural resources.  

Burnham has been promising change again, this time on social care.  He also promised other things, almost none of which will appear.  They only real action he has taken is to appoint his 'advisers.  A long list of these are on Twitter, all of these are owned by Israel through billionaires or companies owned or involving such men.  The Speaker's father began Labour Friends of Israel, and he remains a member himself, and many of the Labour cabinet also belong.  The Tories have their own Friends of Israel, and we in spite of Brexit and sovereignty, we belong to Israel.  The papers do not appear to notice this.

The Commonwealth Games have been taking place in Glasgow, that is why the girls are running in the rain.  A major event in the athletics world yet it is not shown on the BBC.  Once again we see Scotland hidden from Scotland, the world can see the games if they wish, but Scots have to search around via Channel 5 and TNT to see any of the Games for themselves.  Once again England puts Scotland down.

There have been several tragedies recently at the seaside, occasionally ponds and lakes offer similar. These usually feature a child getting into trouble, a father trying to save them, and one or both failing to return.  In East Anglia a mother and daughter struggled to save the young son when the tide came in, both died.  Today the son also died.  Typically, it is a father, those people always ignored and labelled as bad by the media, who frequently die attempting to retrieve a child.  Such a shame these events occur, such a shame the father is never fully praised.

 

Change

 It's that change over time of year again.  Parliament, schools, and businesses tend to go on holiday about now.  The media will spend time seeking absurd filler stories, and political exchange will disappear, mostly.  Of course Scottish schools and business went on holiday on July the 1st, but England and its parliament care nothing for that. 

So we see the change in front of us.  Kids remaining out later at night than during schools days, later also than we remained outside.  More flights overhead as people head for the sun, though it is still warm here, leaving or arriving in the middle of the night.  Is this worth it?  Temp workers will find jobs easier to come by, but the money will remain low.  With the World Cup football in England coming to a halt, and delighted Scotland by doing so it must be said, there is nothing but the overpaid Premier League to look forward to for them.  Football proper began in Scotland two weeks ago, but there was no mention of that down here. 

So, schools end, parliament ends, but the new man enters.  

Andy Burnham, the Labour Messiah, has landed.  It appears he will be Prime Minister by Monday, and if nothing else Israel who chose him, will be happy to see their investment pay off.  He promises a new Labour approach to government, just like the last guy, he intends to reverse 40 years on Neoliberalism, oh yeah, and therefore attack the Thatcherism of Tony Blair and his mates.  He as not yet chosen a chancellor, the one who spends the money, but we all know words come easy to a politician.  In the end his backers will decide his policies.  Being rich Jews and other billionaires I do not expect a wealth tax to be seen soon.

Therefore, change is in the air, but I will carry on as normal.  Slow, uncaring, watching football and sleeping often. 
That's now my natural abode.

One Leaves andother of the Same Comes in

This man left, I read he was in tears, claiming his love for the country and his family.  Claiming he had done his best, his duty, and wanders off into the void to make money on boring speeches all over the right wing world.

Of course, he forgot to mention he allowed the US to use RAF bases to bomb children in Iran, forgot to say how he flew spy planes over Gaza and Lebanon for Bibi's sake.   Forgot to mention his many years led by Israel as they put him in power as a stooge. Forgot to mention his Jewish wife, was she an agent I wonder?  

He was elected by the people because he claimed to end the 14 years of Tory austerity and corruption.  Almost immediately he copied them, attacked the pensioners, the disabled, benefit seekers, unemployed, young and old, and anyone considered surplus to requirements of the billionaires who paid for him on his way up.

He will not be missed.

Travelling down from Manchester like Adolf Hitler entered Nuremberg, Andy was followed all the way by helicopters costing thousands of pounds an hour, from both BBC and ITV.  The arrival of the Messiah was being proclaimed.  We then are offered happy pictures of Andy surrounded by loving members of his party in parliament, women forcing themselves to the front, it brings a lump to the throat similarly too much of my cooking.

The great change has happened, the failing leader has gone, and Israel are about to give us another Prime Minister of their choice.  Andy Burnham, the 'people's choice,' has taken his seat.  The MPs crowd around for favours and jobs, an election for leader will come soon.  Soon Starmer with a Northern accent will be offering us excitement as well as total failure, as he continues the policies already on the table.

The future is not bright, is it.
