Sainsburys and Kemi the Racist

I headed off bright and early this morning to Sainsburys for the weekend needful.  Being Friday it was a bit busy, even more so as it is the last Friday before Christmas, which is next Thursday you know.  I went through my list, I have long realised a list is always required in such shops, bumping to many men unused to shopping trolleys, and unused to following the wife around such shops.  Clever men carry a basket and skip by such as they.
Having decided the basket now weighted more than I can carry I headed for the checkout.  Much to my surprise three, new, girls were sitting silently awaiting customers while the self service place was overrun.  That has not happened before.  I chose the young Asian lass who I met last week.  That day she was having a disaster, nothing was going right, the supervisor was hiding, and we were all waiting.  I found myself becoming encouraging towards her rather than grieved.  Eventually we got through and I spoke kindly to the new girl and went on my way.  No point in complaining in such situations, we have all been there, and we have all been struggling at a new job.  Today, all was well and quickly I overfilled the bag, gasped at the price, and nothing, absolutely nothing was a luxury today, paid the money and stumbled home, stopping only to encourage a lost driver that the street he wanted was a mile back they way he had come.  Good luck to him amongst that heavy traffic.
Heavy traffic that was not eased when Zak parked his Royal Mail van at my door blocking the other lane.  While I raced down slowly to gather the parcel from my favourite niece it left the cars behind fuming.  However, I checked on his Christmas, his work pattern this week, and wished him well, ignoring the red faces turning blue in the traffic.  It's not often I stop the traffic, let alone twice in a  morning.  The traffic is still slowly trundling past now, late in the afternoon.

This was produced by Kemi Badenoch the leader of the Conservative Party.  Such blatant racism while commenting on the Labour Party's rather stupid idea, of teaching boys not to be misogynist, and offers blatant racism.
Lets be clear, while around 200 asylum seekers have been involved with sex attacks of one sort or another, and some 2000 or so 'ethnics' also (meaning Pakistani's usually in the media) the majority of the 16,000 sex attacks in the last account were conducted by white Englishmen or Welshmen.  These numbers come from the Law covering England and Wales only.
This is another example of the failure of the Conservative Party to find a policy that works, and a failure to admit to their corruption and incompetence over the past 14 years.  For them a change is required, and this woman, herself a daughter of immigrants, is not the answer.

Kemi, Ash and Steve.

Like me you probably did not bother to listen or watch the Leaders speech at the Conservative Party conference today.  I forgot, so I missed deliberately not watching it.  I hear there were the usual inept promises, cutting Private schools bills, abolishing stamp duty, attacking benefits rather than tax her wealthy donors, scrapping net-zero policies, all the usual Tory nonsense.
What was more bizarre was her claim that her party was the only one to put 'Broken Britain' right.  Though on their free chocolate they did spell 'Britain,' as 'Britian!'  The fact that she indicated 15 years ago Poland was worse of than the UK, now it blossoms she failed to understand that 15 years of her party in charge, a party she was part off, is the reason the UK is broken.  Her answer, to continue the same policies.
We are watching the death of the Conservative Party here.  Nigel, hiding like his money, will be happy.

Ash Regan has put a bill through Holyrood to deal with men buying sex.  Some think this a good idea, some think she is just using this for her own publicity.  Either way it is bonkers.
The idea is that women who sell their bodies for cash, prostitutes now falsely referred to as 'sex workers, will be decriminalised but men paying for them will be charged for a crime.  So prostitutes are OK, customers are not?  This is women's logic at best.
If it is a crime to buy it must be a crime to sell.
This plan, designed to aid the girls, has no merit.  The cause of prostitution is not dealt with.  Trafficking is passed over, and there are laws against that, and the girls, not just those 'forced' into it will continue to sell themselves for money.  They will not be charged but their customers will?  Therefore there will be no customers.
Another half truth law, more for Ash to keep herself in the front with an election coming next year rather than deal with the causes and abuses of prostitution. And I note nobody has asked about the women living close to those who sell themselves and are often challenged by potential customers, their opinion has not been sought.

The Rangers are looking for their 12th manager in 10 years after another hit the ground running and fell apart.  Scotland shows no sympathy here.  Many names have been mentioned, Steve Gerard, Derick McInnes and the laughable Sean Dyche!  However Gerard is the fans favourite, he won the league once after 4 years of failure, simply because Celtic were bad.  Now Stevie is seen as the saviour.  I hope he is chosen, he is not a good manager, failed at Aston Villa, failed in Saudi, and will fail again in Glasgow, so, let him come.

Kemi & Tech

Another day of joy with tech.
I signed in to TNT the other day, I watched the football, and today I signed in again and was told 'NO GO!'  I requested a password prompt, the answer did not arrive at my email.
I went onto the 'Contact Us' page.  Here I found AI at it's best.
Eventually AI offered to transfer me to a human...nothing happened after long enough so I gave up.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr again.
Possibly Saturday is not the best tome to contact this lot.
I will try again on Monday.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr etc...

Yet another failing individual has taken the role as Leader of the Conservative Party.  She received more votes than the somewhat unstable Jenrick however, at least a third of the Party did not vote.  That says something.
She is black, female, and so far that is all the media have said about her.  The fact is we know enough and most of us are wondering why the Labour Party has not come out and thanked her for giving them another 5 years in office.
Another one with little sense of care for others, looks to the far right for support, cares more about Farage than what is required, and on Wednesday will be put in her place by the clammy Keir Starmer.
Not much for us in this appointment, just the prospect of another Conservative Party leadership bid soon.
