A Trudge to Get Bread
One man, dressed for the front room, hurried across the park, pulled out his phone, took a quick picture, and ran away back from whence had had come somewhat guiltily. The rest of us, warmly wrapped and slow moving, ignored him. Most offered a rueful remark as we passed one another, one woman annoyed at being 'called in' to work when she wanted to take pictures also. How cruel life is. I bet her pictures would be better thought out than mine.

Sabbath Snow
Tonight however, to the delight of children everywhere, and to the annoyance on grown ups, snow has descended upon us. Snow, which they say will fall until six in the morning, now blankets the area. Traffic, such as it is, slowly passes, leaving long trails on the road and exasperating many drivers, though the one who passed just now has no worries it appears, either that or no brakes.

Boring, Cold, Saturday
The storm has been the only story in some papers, I note the Tory rags have ignored Conservative Dougie Ross's claiming for expenses while forgetting to enter his £30,000 linesman takings in the Holyrood register. I suppose to the Tories that is not a problem, more a way of life to them. The 'Glasgow Herald' however does splash an ex-SNP member as being questioned by police, no charges so far. Dougie appears ignored. The rest cast fear about the latest version of the virus, especially as it may 'Halt Christmas!' though Christmas will go ahead whatever. The usual Saturday scare stories and little actual news, the Conservative Party will not allow this.

Another Flu Jab
I was back this morning, in spite of the rain, to the surgery. This time it was the Flu Jab. The queue of aged people was long, but quickly parted to let me in to the Stasi. She, I must say, was very cool in the heated atmosphere, lots of folks stumbling aroung hither and thither, some knowing where they were going, some not. I, the youngest among them, was treated well by the Stasi, she even helpfully gave me the Blood Test result, nothing changed there, and sent me round to the old folks queue. Five people were before me, except I was the only one on time! I joked with the crew there before a nurse approached, called my name and off I went. I must say these two nurses while efficient were not the cheeriest. I suspect they have come in for the day to jab the Flu queue and then hop off to collect the kids. Their men, if they have them, are welcome to their cheerless faces.

Spring Snow...
By the time Hamilton Academicals had dropped two points at home tothe Blue Bigots proper snow had appeared. This however, did not deter those who thought they could, or needed, to drive around in it as it appears many cars are still out there in spite of it all. Had I not been wrongly banned from Twitter I could find out how many accidents are occurring in this region because of the snow! Bah!
So instead of wandering across the world I have watched football, stuffed my face, fallen asleep again, and spent much time looking for a small piece of paper. As you may understand, there are lots of those lying around this house, we are not all computerised as yet...

Snow Saturday
The football did its job, eventually. While some cynical types considered our team a wee bit wan and empty when the teamsheet was announced I was always confident in victory. This confidence evaporated as the game went on. Eventually however we managed to secure another win and fool ourselves into thinking we are about to be champions. I suspect we may be but clearly 'Must do better,' needs to be written on the report cards here.
