Hello Blossom

What a difference Spring makes!  Sun shining, blue sky, a wee bit chilly but lovely all the same. Not that I saw much of this as I was forced to remain indoors watching cup semi finals.  Quite why they don't fix up a telly in the park so I can watch in comfort there I am not informed.  When I think of it I am not informed about much these days.  Living as I do in my own little world it can be surprising to discover things occur outside my remit.  In any decent society I would be informed daily about such events, rather in the manner thon queen woman gets information in a big red box everyday for her to ignore.

Long days are back again, how I enjoy them!  Rising around six (back to bed around 12) and now wandering around in the cool of the day while down under the cyclone rage through and rain lashes down.  It makes a change I can tell you!  I note however Perth is still suffering high temperatures and the have the audacity to grumble about heat!  Bah!
Another Sunday passes, another evening when the kiddies go home rather than shout and scream their lungs out in the park.  Maybe they have forgotten tomorrow is a day off?  At times like this, with the sun just beyond the horizon, the sky a light blue still, and a hush descending over the land I wish I was bedside a lake, or the seaside.  That would improve things, as would a large steak and a few friends (whatever they are).  A cat purring at my side, worries put away, ah that would be nice.

I am looking for someone to take my demanding nuisance cat ~ she will be in the mail to you promptly and purring beside you before you know it. Sorry u can't help with the other requests.

Oops ~ that 'u' should have been an 'I'

There must be someone you can write to re setting up a telly in the park for your comfort, Adullamite. I'll put some feelers out and see if I can get the situation remedied for you.

I, too, would love to live beside a lake or the ocean. That's my dream.

I've my two cats beside me, but, sorry, I'm not generous like Carol - you can't have either Remy or Shama. They're mine to keep!

Beautiful blossoms...and that pic of the sun rising makes me feel as if I'm right there....well done.

Would you like a lamb next time the mother rejects one...?
Very friendly, companionable, but will require room on the sofa so that it can breathe heavily in your ear...
Good at guarding...will butt anything strange to it or will leap feet into the air performing somersaults which will get any predator running away...

Carol, No cat is a nuisance, it must be you are treating the poor wee creature badly.

Lee, How lovely to have two cats!

Fly, Er, the landlord says 'no pets....'

It's a shame you can't have a pet where you live, Adullamite.

My two little mates are a huge part of my life (I have to say that because Shama is sitting on my lap as I type)!

I'd be lost without them. They're spoiled rotten; and they know it, and act on it. They think they're the bosses...and I think they could very well be, too! I'm just the lowly slave around here. I thought slavery was abolished...but not here in my little corner of the world!

I keep telling them to go out and get a job....

Lee, A slave to cats? Of course you are, that's the normal way.
