In many regards, the NRA now reminds me of far too many big labor unions. For they started out with the best of intentions, but then became drunk with power and opposed to anything that does not fit their agenda in every respect--even when it would be in their best interest to go along with what is being proposed. I personally do not find anything wrong with what President Obama is currently proposing, and I am afraid that the NRA's radical arrogance will do more to bring about what they are supposed to be fighting against than anything else. For there are many in America who are genuinely afraid of firearms on account of never being around them, and the actions of far too many in and around the NRA are making it easy for them to feel that their fear is warranted.

The next few months will be interesting.
How true that is!
Why mental health care isn't as easy to get as guns are, beats me!
And why an individual needs an assault weapon/s also beats me!
This is a crazy world we live in and it gets crazier by the minute...unfortunately!
