Blog Catalog Problems
On Saturday morn I attempted to log in to Blog Catalog. As I did so my 'Avast' anti virus indicated there was a 'JS Downloader' virus associated with the page linked to:-
http://triplopak.com/documents/?s=576.
I attempted to log in this morning and found another similar warning, this time linked to :-
http://maranack.com/documents/?s=576
On both occasions I e-mailed Blogcatalog and warned them of this.
I just wonder if any other have found this warning?
Avast is quite good and indicates a lot more virii than other anti virus I have found, but I wonder if others have come across this?

Graham this has been a common occurrence for me on BC for a while- Kaspersky security picks it up.
However it may not be a true virus-possibly the security is identifying it a malware.
Personally I have closed my BC account. Not because of the virus alerts but because of duplicate content issues with Google.
Basically my stuff was not getting indexed under my url.
It happened for me now on several occassions and is increasing, kaspersky picks it up but the browser crashes each time, so its something they should definitely look at asap.
Here is one of such urls:

I've had problems the last 2 days, myself. This is the first time in years I've ever had such problems. I doubt I'll be going back any time soon. Thanks for confirming that it's not just me, though!
My BitDefender also blocked something that was on some profile page there. Sorry, I didn't catch any of the details. For I was too busy diving under my desk in the hope of avoiding getting sick. Thankfully, it worked, but getting me back out from under the desk was a problem that my wife informed me that we would not be having again.

I get the same issue. I also use Avast.
Mike, I remember your problems on Google. Not a virus just them I suspect.
Tim, It took a while to clear after I aborted the connection via 'Avast.'
