Nothing to Report, again.....

So here is a picture of a cat!

My brain has been overworked in recent days so I wandered about ending up in the shopping centre. Here I purchased t-shirts from a miserable woman, and shortly before that a book and a couple of DVDs for a sick man from an efficient unfriendly woman.  What is it about folks in shops that friendliness is lacking? At the museum we insist on a friendly approach, otherwise folks do not return. Surely even efficiency cannot be enough?  A bit of pretend friendliness helps. The book shop women was helpful but we need to see life!  The other lass will not be employed long.  I wonder if any keep their jobs for long in that centre? The atmosphere is a bit well, yeuchy.  On top of that I saw a decent dark brown cord jacket that I want, at a price I would pay, and naturally enough, they don't have one that fits me!  Bah! Isn't it always the way?

The cat knows....

I could say that shop assistants these days (some) just aren't trained in the ways of dealing with customers, the public; but then, I shouldn't have to say anything; and they shouldn't have to be trained, either. One would think common sense would be enough; but I believe there isn't enough common sense around these days...so training it is.

Some people do find it difficult to be nice; some find it difficult to raise a smile. What a boring existence they must live.

Look for a grey jacket, instead...you might find one at the right price and of right fitting. Or go a bit crazy and look for a bright yellow one; there should be stacks of those around because no one else wants them! :)

Take care.

I became used to unfriendly service in France...not so much in the supermarkets as in the individual shops...so it was and still is a pleasant surprise to have shop assistants here ready to ransack the place to find what I want!

Lee, The Brown jacket was perfect, but Gray would not do, as for yellow! There was several light blue cord jackets, naturally I ignored them!

Fly, Your land appears a pleasant place, in places!

Ever since you and Lee expressed your love for cats, ours have become harder and harder to get along with. Would you please take it all back. It would be the friendly thing to do--right?

Arlynda, For some reason your comment did not post, so I used the old fashioned method.
Sadly I see the problem, and I think Lee would agree, you are both treating the cats badly. You need to change your ways!

Well, I hope you are quite proud of yourself. For I am surely going to be paying a very painful price for that. If you get a package in the mail from me that sounds like it might be ticking, just go ahead and open it--okay?

I had service a bit like that in |Slovakia just after the fall of the COmmunists.

Jerry, 'The cat is always right,' an old Scots proverb.

Jenny, I bet the service there is much better today.

Me treat my cats badly? You must be joking! They'd never let me get away with such dastardly behaviour!

They'd put me in the doghouse if I did; and that would be a terrible punishment because I neither have a doghouse nor a dog! And the bird bath just won't accommodate me!
