I'm sorry to see one or two of you are gloating here.
I'm not, but my post on an English board got removed....
S. The US have already given England a hiding, twice that I know off! It would have been enjoyable if they had done it again, especially as so many Yank players play in England these days.
I'm bloody sure Robert Green was born in Scotland and Capello was feeding the entire squad haggis for breakfast. I've never seen an English team look so Scotland-esque before.
It's time to rebuild the great wall and stop young men with high hopes and goalkeeping gloves from getting over it.

I note there's an open-top bus for sale on ebay. Contact F. Capello...
To ensure the lads get a heroes welcome home the plane is flying into Glasgow.
Hooray...
Now let the excuses and the finger-pointing begin...
On the radio, a mad rant about a disallowed goal...
oh yes?
well is it so much better that they'd "only" have lost for-two, as opposed to four-one?
Will we see England fans chanting "We aren't the greatest"? will we see the masters of mediocre accepting a pay cut?
Probably not.
I was hoping the U.S. would beat them, for a proper humbling.
(can you tell I'm not in the least bit a football fan?)
Shades of 1966, they think its all over, well it is now....thank goodness.
No, I cannot imagine you doing any gloating.
