Kemi, Ash and Steve.

Like me you probably did not bother to listen or watch the Leaders speech at the Conservative Party conference today.  I forgot, so I missed deliberately not watching it.  I hear there were the usual inept promises, cutting Private schools bills, abolishing stamp duty, attacking benefits rather than tax her wealthy donors, scrapping net-zero policies, all the usual Tory nonsense.
What was more bizarre was her claim that her party was the only one to put 'Broken Britain' right.  Though on their free chocolate they did spell 'Britain,' as 'Britian!'  The fact that she indicated 15 years ago Poland was worse of than the UK, now it blossoms she failed to understand that 15 years of her party in charge, a party she was part off, is the reason the UK is broken.  Her answer, to continue the same policies.
We are watching the death of the Conservative Party here.  Nigel, hiding like his money, will be happy.

Ash Regan has put a bill through Holyrood to deal with men buying sex.  Some think this a good idea, some think she is just using this for her own publicity.  Either way it is bonkers.
The idea is that women who sell their bodies for cash, prostitutes now falsely referred to as 'sex workers, will be decriminalised but men paying for them will be charged for a crime.  So prostitutes are OK, customers are not?  This is women's logic at best.
If it is a crime to buy it must be a crime to sell.
This plan, designed to aid the girls, has no merit.  The cause of prostitution is not dealt with.  Trafficking is passed over, and there are laws against that, and the girls, not just those 'forced' into it will continue to sell themselves for money.  They will not be charged but their customers will?  Therefore there will be no customers.
Another half truth law, more for Ash to keep herself in the front with an election coming next year rather than deal with the causes and abuses of prostitution. And I note nobody has asked about the women living close to those who sell themselves and are often challenged by potential customers, their opinion has not been sought.

The Rangers are looking for their 12th manager in 10 years after another hit the ground running and fell apart.  Scotland shows no sympathy here.  Many names have been mentioned, Steve Gerard, Derick McInnes and the laughable Sean Dyche!  However Gerard is the fans favourite, he won the league once after 4 years of failure, simply because Celtic were bad.  Now Stevie is seen as the saviour.  I hope he is chosen, he is not a good manager, failed at Aston Villa, failed in Saudi, and will fail again in Glasgow, so, let him come.
