I saw coverage of this on news bulletins today....and of the poor bloke who travelled far to see the Flying Scotsman fly by only to have his view hampered by another passing train. However, the Flying Scotsman folk have compensated him...so all's well that ends well.
When I heard about it I really wished I'd gone to see it at the station. It wouldn't have been too difficult if only I had made the effort, or, in fact, known that it was going to be there.
