On the 20-mile hike that was required to make Eagle in the Boy Scouts, we needed to cross over a electric fence on the trail we were on. No, crossing over an electric fence was not actually part of the requirement, but there it was, anyway. I was able to get over it without a problem, but another slipped when he started over, which left him straddling the fence as it was being held down with a piece of wood by a couple more in our group. Be assured that we made a valiant effort to not have too much fun with his dilemma, but every time he let out a yelp when the electrified wire would come into contact with the inner thigh of one of his legs as he tried to gather the resolve to hop all the way over, bigger cracks began to appear in our resolve to keep from busting out laughing. By the time he finally got all the way over the fence, three out of the five in the group were rolling on the ground. Yeah, I was one of the first to go down.
