I always like to look at Street view too, but many places still don't have it. They didnt seem to have any street view in Mauritius at all. Maybe it was too time consuming to get the Google car over there. Very often when watching something about an area / place on TV I have the map to hand. they are great for trips as they tell you where bus stops are etc. and they also show the cycle routes.
